3000 Words of German in 3 Weeks (Linz)

Dear friends,
for those of you who are starting with German there is a very interesting course starting at the International Graduates Club Linz.
There are just few places left, be fast with signing up.

Here is some more info:
" Protected content of German in 3 Weeks by Bruno's Method"
German course taught by Prof. Bruno Buchberger, initiator of the International Graduates Club, founder of the Softwarepark Hagenberg, winner of the Kanellakis Award

For people who know English and like to think in abstract terms.

What is the course? Prof. Buchberger explains in his excerpt from the presentation, who he himself speaks many languages.

This is my personal advice for international students who know English and want to pick up some German as quickly as possible before they embark on a serious German course. The method I present here for this type of German crash course is based on the insights I received (many years back, Protected content my excellent high school teacher of Latin, Professor Walter Hohlbrugger, who was a specialist on etymology (the science of the evolution of languages) and who inspired me throughout my own life to learn languages fast by trying to understand their structure and historic evolution. The method is also based on my experience with foreign students from many countries who joined the international PhD and master programs in computer math and computer science (taught in English) I initiated and directed for some period at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation, Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria.

However, whatever I am saying in this text about linguistics, etymology, and history of languages is not a scientific statement and is not carefully checked by a linguist. I just try to establish a short-cut for those who know (a decent amount of) English and want to get to some initial level of German fast!

Thus, in this course and text, I am not acting as a scientist but just as a person who shares some practical life experience with his students.

The cost is 5 € for members or 8 € for non-members per meeting. Reserve your spot at Protected content to get information about the date!

- location: one of the seminar rooms in the Ok-Center (ImOÖKQ) on the second floor in the Pressefoyer next to the International Cultural Lounge.
