Has anybody out there had a nightmare in getting your Philippino girlfriend a Shengen visa from the Greek embassy in Manila. Our first attempt was refused because, although the questions were not ask, that she had no reason to go back to the Philippines. Our secand attempt we ensured that we proved that she has to come back to the Philippines but the resulting interview was shocking. See below.
These are the events my girlfriend sent me:
I sat in the chair,and then i see one filipina girl,ithink she is 16 years old only..and then upon i sit the foriegner girl say to me,congratulation Protected content see u have a boyfriend from Portugal,and then i said yes,and then after that she say to me is he your first boyfriend i said he iis my first boyfriend, then she laughing oh first of everything, then i just calm down,then after that she say to me ohh u have a degree holder,then i said yes,because she holding the papers of mine,and then she say to me u have a certificate of bank account i said yes,then she get the papers of my cerificate of my bank account,then i tell her i have with me my original bank account,then she say,can i see it,then i said yes maam,then after that she jump the story,she say to me why u did not get married to him,i said its many papers to process,then she say why u pay here 3 thousand six hundred peso for tourist visa,it must u apply spouse,then i say to her,for now maam i just want to be with my boyfriend,then the foriegner interviewer insist she say no i can't give u a visa,it must u married first with him so all his asset u can easy access,then i say to her please i want to be with my boyfriend and also in the christmas,then she say its too long you stay in portugal,90 days if tourist only it not just long day,then,she jump again the story,she say to me if i have paysleep that my boss give to me salary,i said to her,my boss give my salary thru western union,then she say to me if i have reciept of western union that my boss sending money to me,then i get the reciept and i give to her,and she see..then after that she jump again the story,she even she wanted to give to me the visa,but she can't give,because she is not only the one who made the decision,then she say to me after she finish see my original bank account even i my financial support is okey,she not give the visa,because u we need first get married,then she after that if we finish married,we go in embassy and she say minit only she will approved the visa,then i say to her my boyfriend will go here in philippine to pick up me,if my visa ok,then she no sorry i can't give u a visa,u need to marry with him first.
First I am reading that you can apply for a Schengen visa as many times as you like till you are successful. I have not heard of any tourist visa only Schengen visa. I am also told that it is for holiday and not to visit spouses nor to get married to get this visa. My next door neighbour lives in South Africa and her daughter boyfriend is coming for a visit form South Africa . 3 hours in the consulate and he has it so why so hard in Manila. I guess its down to racialism or a society who are nice and shy you can treat badly.
Consequently does anybody know how I can complain about this,
