US Resume Conversion to CV Format (Lisbon)

Hello:

Recently, I was asked to provide a copy of my CV for a professional opportunity, and I was wondering what are the available resources to help me transform my American resume into a properly formatted CV for use in Europe? My understanding is there are visual and content differences between the two documents. I also assume there are different "standards and formatting rules" based on one's field--for example, a CV for one with a visual arts background is likely different than a CV for someone with a science background. Are there CV-writing firms in Lisboa that people have used and could recommend?
