DESCRIPTION International full immersion workshop on Metodology of Creativity.
The workshop will take place from 10 to September 22, Protected content Lubiana, at the Academy of Visual Arts and Design of the University of Lubiana (ALUO), Eriavčeva 3.
It is forecast for the next year a following workshop, to elaborate and practice.

LEADER The workshop is conceived and leaded by Andrea Murnik.
Andrea Murnik was born in Milan in Protected content slovenian family. He has done scientific studies and attended the School of Medicine, University of Milan, where he devoted special interest to the psychology of perception. He later opened a contemporary art gallery, first in Como, then in Milan, which has become internationally known for its promotion of young artists and for the many exhibitions of art and design that were held in various museums in Europe. Since Protected content is devoted to researching and theorizing, spreading the results of his work through writings and workshops, mostly held in the Art Academies. Since Protected content lives in Ljubljana, continuing his studies and practicing an articulate action of social criticism of the art system, whose name is "Artist-Writer" and is expressed through the production of object-books and performance.

AUDIENCE The workshop is addressed especially to students of the academies of art and to artists, but can be attended with profit by anyone generally interested in studying the subject, even without specific proficiency in the field of art.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS It is required no special knowledge, except for a good general education, but the participant must be curious, concentrated and creativity available, along with a knowledge of English, the official language of the workshop.

LEARNERS' ACTIVITY The participants will be invited to propose their results, which could be of any kind: works of art, documentations, writings, performances, etc. The individual works will be presented on September 22 at Mestni Muzej of Lubiana.
Day by day the partecipants will search for materials on Internet, assisted by three tutors, to summarize and draw up what they learned long the day.
The research work can be carried out at the Central Technical Library (CTK), which will make available a multimedia room.
The produced stuff will be collected in a book/e-book, edited by ALUO and by the sponsor EcceTheEra.

COURSE AIM The workshop aims to target those who are gifted with creativity, but find hard to channel it into their own and appropriate production, toward the acquisition of a personal creative methodology, applicable to any field, not just the artistic one.
Learners who have attended with profit will be eligible for admission to the second phase of the workshop.

WORKLOAD The total number of hours of the workshop is 56: 30 for lesson, 26 for laboratories.
The program will follow this timetable:
from Monday to Friday:
from 09:00 to 12:00 lessons;
from 13:00 to 15:00 laboratories for research and personal meetings of deepening
Saturday 15.09 from 09.00 to 15.00 laboratory at strict contact with nature
Saturday 22.09 finissage and presentation of the workshop and of the works

COSTS The workshop is a donation from the sponsor, consequently free of charge.
Accommodation at students house in Rožna Dolina Protected content from ALUO) for maximum 8 students, for two weeks. Agreed special price for the whole workshop period: 60,00 Euros per person, in rooms for two people.

WHAT IS NEEDED Must be provided with: shoes and clothing for walking in the woods and in damp and slippery places, a torch, possibly a laptop with wireless connection

CERTIFICATE The students that will ask for it will be recognized from the Academy of 4 credits ECTS.
At the end of the workshop, the academy will release a certificate, certifying the job developed by the participant.
