Changing visa, Can -> UK (London)

Greetings all,

I am looking for information on people's experience with changing their visa.

I think a Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa( Protected content ) may be the one I'm going for but would love to hear from others.

I have a few options at my disposal when it comes to making things fit my needs to be able to stay here longer.

1/ I have my own company back in Canada and I'd like to find more UK clients to work with
2/ I have access to a rather large Client that already has a presence in the UK and can utilize nearly any resource that might be required to assist my visa process

Any suggestions would be grateful! Kinda want to hang around longer than 6 months :)
