Events No Shows: Proposals on how to tackle it (London)

Happy New Year Protected content !

Every month, Ambassadors do post events for members to socialize in a relax and friendly manner with one another, especially it gives newcomers the opportunity to meet other expats and global minded people, same goes for visitors eager to mingle with members of our London community whenever visiting our great city.

As it happens, it has been noted that some members tend to sign up for every monthly event but never turn up. Very naughty!

Based on this, let’s start a thread regarding No Shows (NS) in our events, after all this is not a faux-pas topic so feel free to drop any proposals, suggestions on how to tackle this :-) After all, is about giving a chance to those members who really want to attend events and mingle with everyone, as otherwise they feel events guest lists are already fully booked.

Undoubtedly in many occasions, one’s plans change due work commitments if events fall during the week, however when events fall on a Friday or Saturday it would be tremendously appreciated for members to ‘cancel attendance’ by clicking the relevant button as soon as possible.

On the other hand, it will assist Ambassadors with event planning so it works both ways :-)

What are your proposals, suggestions to tackle this?

Let’s positively look into this to at least minimize impact on events attendance.
