So what’s it about?
We are looking to hire a Capacity Building Analyst for a 10 month initial contract (potentially extended) that will play a key role supporting a Newton Fund project implementation of a capacity building programme for local governments in Malaysia, focusing on open data and smart technologies for sustainable urban development.
You will scope the capacity building needs on the Malaysian side and match these with the UK offer and expertise in this area. You will lead on the formalisation of a capacity building programme for local authorities in the Malaysian context ensuring strong long-term impact and development pathways on both the Malaysian and UK sides as well as opportunities for commercial uptake.
For this role, being able to write and communicate in English and Malay is key.
