Investments in cancer drug discovery (London)

I'm spinning off a drug discovery company from my job as a cancer biologist. Originally planned for my home country of Canada, but considering keeping it here in Europe. Anyone know the way around start-ups and investments in the EU? Can you point the way to anyone who might be interested? Transatlantic partnership would be good, too. Thanks. Don.
