BT Melodians Steel Orchestra performing at Kneller Hall, Royal Military School of Music.

If you are in the area, or can be in the area :D there will be the final concert, in the Concerts in the Park series held in the grounds of Kneller Hall, Royal Military School of Music.

Gates open at 6pm and you can bring a picnic. This night is particularly special (yes, I am biased! :D) because the BT Melodians Steel Orchestra will be playing on this night. It is the first time in the history of Kneller Hall that a steel orchestra will be playing there. The steel pan was invented in my home country of Trinidad and is said to be the only musical instrument invented in the 20th Century. A steel orchestra played alongside Jean Michel Jarre during the Bastille Day celebrations (Paris) in Protected content is quite a verstile instrument.
