Living around LHR (London)

Hi y'all,

I am considering a job offer in London. The office is located south of LHR so I will be looking for a house/flat around that area. I am looking for a 4 bed property. Any suggestions where to look without paying an arm and a leg? Will £1500/PCM get me anywhere? I don't mind crossing the M25 to Surrey or Midx if it makes economic sense.
