Orphan Christmas Lunch/Drinks (London)

I'm a 27 year old Aussie who recently moved to London and I still don't have many friends here so it's looking increasingly like I may find myself having a very quiet Xmas.

I'm wondering if anyone might be in the same boat and interested in meeting up for a few drinks at a local pub or attending an Orphan Christmas Lunch?

I'm trying to use this as a positive opportunity to meet new people and it would be especially great to meet some other living in London in the same situation and maybe make some friends.
