As part of a global software company we are looking to recruit for a permanent and full time position within our help desk team for our Reading offices
1st line Support Desk for a software company. The position will involve a process of receiving support ticket requests from helpdesk system, contact the client and ascertain the details of the issue. Liaising with 2nd line support or utilise product knowledge base for resolution process. Communicating effectively with our clients to instruct on resolution.
Candidates will have experience working within an existing IT infrastructure or Software Application in a Support/Helpdesk/Service desk role. Should have an interest in developing a career in software application support and have some understanding of Finance. They must have effective communication skills, written and verbal, with experience of assisting helpdesk users over the telephone and via email. They should have a genuine passion for forging an IT career and be customer service focused.
Candidates would ideally only have a short commute to our offices in Reading.
