Relocating to London

My fiance was recently offered a place to study Law at King's College. We won't be able to move to London until July, so we are going to take our time choosing the perfect place.

The following are the areas we are interested in, based on basic research:
Primrose Hill, Hampstead, Pimlico, South Ken, Westminster, Notting Hill, Holland Park, Fulham, and Putney.

We really want to find something bigger and better than merely functional, as I am a writer and my environment is crucial to productivity. An area with flats/houses that have a lot of period buildings, leafy streets, green spaces close by, and a creative vibe, as well as shops/pubs/restaurants/museums/art galleries is ideal.

We will be coming into London every month to look around. If anyone has definite streets/ neighborhoods they want to recommend we would really appreciate that!
