Summer internship for finance graduates (London)

A Sub-Saharan Africa Buyout Fund sponsors a London based 2 to 3 months internship programme designed for recent graduates and students entering their senior year of university

The opportunity
An in-house acquisition team is looking for a junior support on debt-equity swap transaction in various sub-Saharan African economies. The intern will provide transaction support throughout the process and will gain further exposure to the following areas:
- Understanding of macroeconomic trends
- Country and industry analysis
- Company analysis and valuation
- Due diligence
- Operational and financial restructuring of an asset
- Sale process of a business
- Extensive collaboration with advisors involved in the transaction

Key requirements
A successful applicant will possess the following qualities:
- Numerate, mature, team player, with intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, interest in banking
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with information databases such as Bloomberg and Datastream/Factset
- Previous exposure to West and Central Africa
- Fluent English and French

Term and application submission dates
