Tax consequeces for US Citizens working in UK (London)

Greetings Expats,

I am wondering if someone here can enlighten me on tax consequences of working in UK for US Citizens.

Within USA normally working in one state and residing in another is handled by filing resident return in one and non-resident in the other. This allows for taxes paid in one state to be claimed as credit in the other. Of course crossing international lines it's probably another matter entirely.
