Volcano climb - Tenerife - 26/27/28 June - keen? (London)

Hi,

I'm going to Tenerife between 26th and 28th June to climb Teide (Spain's highest mountain) and was wondering whether anyone else will be around at that time, or whether anyone here would be interested in climbing it with me? The summit is ~3800m above sea level and if there isn't too much cloud cover you can see all the other Canary Islands from the peak.

Re. costs:

*The cheapest return flights from London for those dates are £225
*Cheaper hotels on the south side of the island will be approx £30 per night at current EUR/GBP FX.

*I'm staying near the airport in a 4-star hotel with nearby beach and golf course and have a spare space (separate beds) in an aparthotel.
*If I get more interest I'm happy to cancel my current reservation and block-book rooms in another hotel.

P.S. If you want to climb all the way to the summit climbing footwear is recommended (can be lava in places!).
