Whitechapel, Bethnal Green or Brick Lane ? (London)

Hi guys
hope some of you an help me. I am moving soon to London and searching for a double room.
I have seen there are several offers in areas like Bethnal Green or Brick Lane, as far as I know (and I've seen), do not seem very quiet areas.
Does any of you have a different perspective? I might be biased by the fact I've been in these areas only at night or during the Saturday's market...
