Want to feel like a Brazilian for one night? March 1 it is! Samba on down to Club Nokia at LA Live for L.A.'s 14th annual Brazilian Carnaval celebration, featuring all-star Brazilian bands and non-stop music and dancing. This year's theme is World Cup soccer, since the Protected content World Cup kicks off in Brazil this summer. Jetting down to South America costs an arm and a leg, but Brazilian Nites Productions will make sure you get your fill of Carnaval partying right here in town. In addition to the internationally-acclaimed bands, the party will include one of L.A.'s top DJs spinning Brazilian dance hits, the energy of elite samba drummers, authentic Brazilian food and drinks and of course, the tantalizing and elaborately costumed samba dancers. Carnaval and World Cup-themed costumes are encouraged.
