VISITING LA FOR THE WK-END, JUNE 24-26 (Los Angeles)

Greeting to all!
I'm from Brazil and will be visiting LA in June Protected content . I'd love to hear from you about places to visit during that week-end, apart from the usual must seen, some best kept secret places... I'm a traveler (def not the tourist type, think I'll skip Hollywood for now) so I'd really apreciate a Los Angelinos perspective, things you'd do: art galleries, music (jazz, rock, guitar, blues), short hikes in LA..what would you recommend?
