Getting around Merlischachen (Lucerne)

Hi folks,
Need advise of what the best to do in Merlischachen. It seems there are only a little review on it. I and my friend will be staying in Swiss Schalet for 3 nights.
Plan to spend a day going up to Jungfrau or nearer mountain to Lucerne. Any ideas are welcome.
