Natural Childbirth Conference in Lugano!

An association of doulas (assistants to childbirth) in Ticino would like to organize a conference about pregnancy and natural childbirth here in Ticino, led by a famous American midwife Ibu Robin Lim, who will be visiting northern Italy this fall. Robin Lim lives in Bali, where she has founded a pregnancy and birth center for low income women. She often helps in areas affected by earthquakes with her skills in obstetrics. Apparently, she was recently in Nepal doing this. In Protected content , she was named the CNN hero of the year for helping thousands of lower-class Indonesian women have a healthy pregnancy and birth.

The association of doulas in Ticino need a sponsor to pay a stipend for Robin Lim, which would include her and her husband’s travel expenses from Italy and a payment for her time and contribution to the conference. There will also surely be some costs involved in organizing the conference.

I am posting this to see if anyone has any ideas of who might be interested in sponsoring such a conference.
