Do you love plants and gardening? Come and browse at the event "Piante e dintorni' at a gracious villa in the heart of Lugano (Spazio Protected content , Via Ciseri 3) on Sunday 27 April from 10 am to 6 pm. Plant nurseries and collectors will present and sell Ticinese plants such as herbs, aromatics, lake olives, rare old apples, roses, wisteria, peonies and rare shrubs. At 11 am there will a prize in memory of the famous British gardener and diplomat, Sir Peter Smithers, who created the fantastic garden at Vico Morcote presented by his daughter. At 3 pm there will be a conversation with the "Anarchic Gardener" Maurice Maggi and there will be an all-day brunch. Bring your own seeds and plants to swap with other gardeners in a special corner. The event will take place whatever the weather, so dont' hesitate to come.
