Advice for Lusaka newbie

Hi all. I just recently arrived in Lusaka and will be here for a few weeks. I would appreciate any advice on the following:

-Places to meet other expats?
-Things to do in and around Lusaka over the weekend?
-Best places to get fresh veg (“fresh” veg at Spar in Arcades looks like it’s still last year’s stock…)?
-I’m aware of the African swine flu issue… is there any place where it’s possible to get bacon? (I REALLY need my bacon in the morning
