Life in Zambia - Ndola (Lusaka)

Hi all, we are an Expat family living in the Middle East at the moment. I am originally from South Africa and my husband is from Austria. We are in the process of relocating after a tiresome 3 years in Jordan. We have a 3 year old son. We are not completely sure yet about the next posting, but my husband is looking into a job opportunity in Ndola in Zambia. Any ideas about how this life would be for expats? I read about the high crime in Zambia from a Security Report compiled by the USA. But to be honest, the security report for Jordan was also not good (not relating to crime, but terrorism), and we experience no problem with terrorist activity here...

I realize that this forum is mainly for people in Lusaka, but are there anyone who live in Ndola? I really would like to hear from you guys!
