Shipping car from US (Lusaka)

Hi,

I did a search and didn't find any info on this, so hopefully I'm not repeating an old thread. I'm relocating to Lusaka and discovered that while Zambia is generally somewhat expensive, cars are crazy expensive. I found I can ship a late model Land Cruiser to Durban for less than $3k, versus Protected content % premium for the vehicle purchased in Zambia. The road trip from Durban through Botswana to Lusaka is just a bonus!

My question is whether there will be a problem registering a left hand side drive vehicle. Any experience with this? Lightly used 4x4 SUVs are at a big discount in the US right now, so this comes out way cheaper than buying in Africa.

Anything else I need to be aware of or recommendations on shipping and customs for this?
