Bike Art and Film Festival 18-20 September 2015 (Luxembourg)

Dear Luxembourg members, this is your chance to mingle with global minds during three days of BIKE ART AND FILM FESTIVAL. The BAFF will bring together, inspire and energise bicycle fans of all ages. The festival will kick off with a shower of awards for the winners of Mam Vëlo op d’Schaff competition announced at the awards ceremony. Highlight of the festival will be an art exhibition and workshop by a Hungarian tandem of artists called Felvarrom. Enthusiasts of upcycling and recycling, they create unique artwork, biker apparel and accessories from used bicycle parts.
Festival-goers will be as usual treated with the finest selection of bicycle-themed movies, including a close-to-home production. A must-see will be an insightful biketivism documentary by acclaimed director Fredrik Gertten. Cycling adventure seekers are invited to a Bicycle Tales slideshow filled up with captivating stories and pictures.
To spark kids’ enthusiasm for two wheels and raise their awareness of safety, BAFF will offer a bunch of fun activities for children: bicycle decoration workshop and a small bicycle rodeo. Festival-goers will also have a chance to shop at a second hand market and have minor repairs done at the BAFF Bicycle Atelier. The third day of the festival will see the city of Luxembourg transformed into a game board with checkpoints, puzzles and tasty treats for participants of the City Quiz by bike.
