City Inhabitants Face Changes to Residential Vignettes

At a meeting held on Monday 21 March Protected content , the City Council approved the amendment of the municipal by-law regarding the circulation and tax regulation of residential vignettes.

Under the new regulation, the vignette for residential parking will be awarded per individual and not by household and each person residing in Luxembourg City will be entitled to a maximum of three vignettes, with the assigning of a fourth no longer planned. A single car registration number will be registered per vignette, meaning that including two registration numbers is no longer possible.

The new provisions come into force upon the approval of the City Council's decision of 21 March Protected content state authorities.
