LetzShop.lu launched in Luxembourg

Yesterday saw the launch of the national platform for online commerce "LetzShop.lu" in the Grand Duchy.

Initiated by the Ministry of the Economy, LetzShop.lu began its activity on 14 September Protected content . Currently, a hundred shops are present on the site offering a total of more than 350,000 products on sale. In all, Protected content businesses have already committed to participate in the project.

LetzShop recorded its first orders shortly after its official launch. Customers can either personally pick up in-store purchases or have their products delivered to their homes; the delivery service is free for any order placed before 30 September Protected content , after which time the deliveries will be charged.

The LetzShop.lu project is part of the continuation of the Pakt PRO Commerce which aims in particular to support the development and digitisation of the urban retail trade. On the one hand, LetzShop facilitates access to the digitisation of Luxembourgish businesses by offering them a showcase and an online sales channel and on the other hand, it revitalises urban commerce by generating a passage in the shops that customers have discovered online and where they come to collect their orders.
