Trier vs Luxembourg

Hi Everyone,
I've seen a few threads that talk about living in Lux and living in Trier. A few are a couple years old so I wanted to start a new thread.

I will be there in a few weeks to visit the office (will be working in Lux) and will plan to be in Lux on the Friday night and Trier on the Saturday night to see how busy each city is.

However, I was hoping those who live in both places might be able to do a pro and con list for me. This way I have something to consider when I am there.

Any thoughts on living in Lux, Trier or general comments about working/Living/etc in the area are also greatly appreciated!
