Urgent need for sports equipment for the refugees (Luxembourg)

Dear all,

Both in Arlon and Luxembourg, thousands of refugees have arrived.

In both places, hundreds of volunteers have come up to help them, trying to keep them busy with languages courses, sports and cultural activities.
Their monthly allowance: 25Eur. Hardly enough to buy a telephone card to talk to their family back home.

The Luxembourg Red cross is urgently in need of sports equipment to keep them active, as very little sports clothes and equipment have been brought to the collection centers so far and they are therefore looking for donors.

What is most urgent (in all sizes):
- Sports shoes (football shoes, running shoes, basketball shoes, etc., especially in sizes 39 to 43)
- Sports trousers (short trousers, trainings)
- T-Shirts
- Any kind of further sports equipment, like balls, shinbone protections, fitness equipment… are also welcome.

We will be on Thursday 3rd of March from 5.30pm until 8pm at the Spanish Cultural Center Lucien Wercollier (FAEL) in rue de Strasbourg, 27, right in front of the Train station.

Please! whatever you have and do not need any more, bring it and it will be immediately distributed among the various refugees centers!
