water quality? (Lviv)

I was assuming I should only use bottled water but have been told by a few locals that they cook with tap water and the quality is decent. Does anyone have specific info on the quality of the tap water and how it compares to Kyiv? I had a tap filter there that I used for cooking. Also, any links to data on which bottled water company is best? Thanks!
