Expat Community in Lyon

Bonjour all!

I left Lyon as a student almost 20 years ago and today I have an opportunity to get a transfer and move back to France.

I travelled around the world and lived in differents cities, countries and I am just a bit apprehensive to regain the French society after spending so much time abroad.
Are there many expats in Lyon? The idea of not speaking English on a daily basis, Spanish and not being around expat is just unthinkable for me.

Lyon is a fabulous, young, active city as far as I remember but I d love to read comments about life in Lyon and I d love to hear about the expat community.
