Total newbie (Lyon)

Hi all

I've arrived in Lyon three days ago to start work at the university and I'm feeling a bit isolated already, so I'm reaching out to people who are/have been in similar circumstances.

My French needs a lot of work so I'm looking for people to get out and do stuff with so I can practice!

I'm also looking for a permanent apartment at the moment, so any advice on that would be very gratefully received
