Workshop and presentation of Kathak (Lyon)

Dear Internationers!

The dance association of Artesia is hosting the next workshop of Kathak after a successful workshop on Bharatanatyam last month.

Price per person: 50euros
Special tariff for group of 3: 40 euros per person
If you would like to come and only watch the presentation in the first half: 10euros

Typical Program of the workshop will be as follows:

First 45 mins = Show
Performance will demonstrate the various parts of Bharatanatyam and a short preview of Indian Classical dance form of Kuchipudi.

15min = Refreshment break
Spiced Tea and Indian snacks will be served.

2hrs = Workshop
Workshop will begin with Yoga stretches to increase flexibility as Indian Classical dance involves some complex postures and movements. After some theoretical background and learning basic steps of Classical dance the workshop will end with an interactive session to enable deeper understanding of the dance form.
