Restaurant Review: Tabkeaw (Maastricht)

My husband and I enjoyed our first restaurant night out on Protected content Tabkeaw Thai Resto since moving here from Canada. Here is our experience summed up:

Atmosphere: 4/5

Service: 3/5 - took them a while before they said hello or brought menus

Food: 4/5 - we shared spring rolls (easy and tasty) and both had beef dishes Keang Keaw-wan Nue and Keang Massaman Nue, one was mild green curry while the other had some kick to it. It was beautifully presented on Thai boats with flowers, smelled and tasted delicious, and they even put heaters under the main dishes to keep them warm (brilliant). My only criticism was that the meat was a bit overcooked and dry (but I'm a medium-rare kinda woman)

Beverages - 3.5/5 - decent selection of wines and Asian beer

Value: 4/5 - we spent $83 for an appetizer, two main dishes, Protected content each, and a dessert - pretty good I would say but it's only our first resto!

Overall experience: 4/5 - I would definitely go back and recommend!
