Autumn Hiking (Madrid)

Hello Madrid!

I hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather as much as I am. Now that it is tolerable to be outside for more than a few minutes without jumping in a pool, I think it is time to get back to the mountains! I absolutely love hiking in the Community of Madrid. There are so many incredible trails. I've gone alone and in groups, but I would really like to try a guided tour of some of the lesser known areas. I found this one guided hike in Sierra de Guadarrama with a professional licensed (English-speaking) mountain guide, that includes insurance and rescue cover, collective first aid and transportation.

The hike is about 5 hours and goes through the Peñalara Natural Park, with its pine forests, high mountain prairies, glacial lagoons and impressive granite rock formations.
