Coming to Madrid in May

Hola! I am from Scotland but have been living abroad for 10 years now. I shall be moving from Buenos Aires to Madrid in May and would like to make some new friends in Madrid especially Argentines. I have been living in Argentina for 5 years and people are so friendly here.

Anyone like to go for drinks, coffee etc please count me in.

Could any recommend good areas to live initially? i want to be fairly central close to parks ideally. Anywhere trendy but quiet ideal!
