COMMERCIAL MANAGER in London (Madrid)

The ideal candidate will: have previous experience of selling, especially in a B2B environment; have excellent communication and presentation skills when dealing with high-level managers and executives; is entrepreneurial while at the same time able to meet deadlines and objectives; have excellent relationship building skills; have excellent IT and organisational skills; a strong interest in and knowledge of the world of business and finance; be able to read Spanish (although this is not an essential requirement); be self-motivated and a team-player.
Duties will include: seeking sponsors for books/projects; seeking client companies and developing book-based projects to meet the client’s needs (eg, for corporate communication, branding, PR or education purposes and goals); selling current LID products directly to corporations and institutions; selling LID speakers to various conferences, organisations, institutions and other commercial speaking opportunities; being involved in developing and implementing the commercial strategy of LID Publishing and LID Speakers; working and collaborating with LID colleagues in other countries (principally, the US, Spain, Mexico and Latin America) on international projects/clients.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
