Executive Assistant to CEO / Translator (Madrid)

Position offered in Madrid, Spain.

The role will be to support the company CEO with duties to include but not limited to the following:

• Assist Senior Executive in managing their expanding business
• Handle all business correspondence in a professional manner, including English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations
• Handling foreign correspondence (letters, faxes etc)
• Acting as an interpreter when required
• Manage travel plans and bookings, including flight and accommodation arrangements for manager's business trips
• Agenda arrangement, meeting coordination, minutes taking and support with follow-up
• Provide administrative support to CEO for executive meetings, minutes, preparation of presentation materials and business correspondence
• Typing/word processing
• Maintaining diaries/arranging appointments
• Booking transport and accommodation for overseas visits/international visitors

The Successful Applicant will possess the following qualities:
• Legally able to work in Spain
• Degree holder or above, ideally in translation, interpretation or language studies
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience supporting Senior Executives in sizable companies
• Native spoken and written English (no exceptions!)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power-point
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Presentable, independent and proactive
• Flexible working hours
