Looking for PhD students in Madrid

Hi

After a couple of years working, I'm considering a PhD so I would like to get in touch with foreign PhD students in Madrid that want to share their experience of what it is like to come as an "outsider" (meaning not directly from a Madrid university).

I would be interested in practical issues such as access to studies and how studies can be financed as well as "soft" issues of how it is to be a foreign (European) PhD student here, without a background in academia (apart from undergraduate studies). My field is Economics, but I'm happy to hear from other lines of study as well.
