New to Madrid- Making Friends

Hello everyone, i just recently moved to madrid from Canada, and am only learning spanish now. I am not trying to build new contacts in friends in the city, let me know if anyone has any pointers of places to go to learn spanish, or other fun general places in the city to go and experience. Also making new friends, so if anyone ever wants to grab a drink and talk about their experiences in Madrid it could be fun.
