Swimming in Madrid

Dear All,

I don't know if I am the only one faced with this problem: I would love to go to an outdoor swimming pool here in Madrid, but that seams to be easier said then done. I have found 3 possibilities:

1. Have a pool at your flat // too bad, I don't!

2. Go to a hotel which has one // good idea and spend 20€+ for a little swim?!?

3. Go to a public pool of one of the polideportivos in one of the barrios // sounds promising, right? But: Members only, to be a member, you have to live there. My barrio does not have a public pool

Anyone else have any good ideas? I can not believe it is impossible to go for a swim!!!
