Windsurfing, sailing in Madrid

Hi everybody.

Not many people know that in Madrid region there is the possibility of practising windsurfing, sailing or kayaking. Altought Madrid is far away from the sea Madrid has some big reservoirs where nautic sports are allowed.

I´m member of Club Regatas Valmayor, in this club u can hire kayaks, windsurfing eqipment and sailing boats as well. The club offers also courses for begginers and intermediate level sailors.

Club de Regatas Valmayor opens dialy, except on mondays, from 11:00 am to 21:00 pm and provides a free parking lot for your private car.
