All members in our community can suggest and create events for other activities that are not the Get-Together Events or Ambassador coordinated events. Examples of “specific interest” activities are dining, theater, music events, etc. Each member is responsible for the coordination of the event they create and publish, as well as the communication with the attendees (participants) to that event. These events will appear in the Community home page and are open for all InterNations members to attend.
Make sure that the information about the event is clear, date, location, activity details and if the activity has any entrance fee. In general, the event coordinator manages all bookings for the event when booking is required, but if participants are expected to take care of their own “reservations” it is a good idea to clarify that on the invitation.
In general, “Specific interest activities” can take place anytime of the month, although we recommend excluding the period between the Protected content each month as our Malmö Get-Together events will be taking place that week.
