A nice spot for young children? (Malta)

Hello everyone,
I live in Australia and have never been to Malta. My family are all Maltese and I have always wanted to move there and raise my children there. I have a 9 year old boy and a 4 year old boy. Can anyone please suggest what they recommend the best place to live with young children? I also need to be close to a good school.
Also, is it hard to get a job in the cafe industry making coffee? Thanks your help :)
