An established company in Malta is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk
Organization Our client provides customers with real estate property sales and property letting, relocation services, corporate and leisure hotel bookings, car leasing and holiday villa and apartment rentals in Malta and Gozo.
Function The Accounts Clerk will be reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties include but are not limited to: handling data entry; assisting in payroll; handling reconciliations; dealing with debtors and creditors; preparing VAT returns; handling bank reconciliations; posting general ledger entries; assisting in management accounts as well as other external financial reporting and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements This position calls for a smart and responsible individual who is able to get things done in a timely manner. Candidates must have an A’level in Accounts, an AAT Diploma or in process of doing their ACCA. Good knowledge of using Sage line, Dakar payroll or any payroll software is required. Applicants must be proficient in English and Maltese.
