Audit Manager - Malta

ASA Leading practice firm based in Malta is looking to recruit an Audit Manager to be a part of their growing firm. Malta is emerging as one of the fastest growing financial services centres.

The selected candidate will work closely with other team members ensuring the delivery of audit reviews in compliance with the firm’s policies.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing the delivery of audit engagements and executing complex audit procedures;
Audit planning and scheduling;
Supervising audit teams;
Training of staff;
Developing people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff;
Conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback for staff.

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a major international audit firm;
Sound knowledge of the financial services industry;
At least 2 years experience managing staff;
An ACCA/ACA qualification or Accountancy degree;
Minimum 4 years of in charge/management over audit engagements;
A solid understanding of IFRS and regulatory requirements.
