The Business Solutions Analyst role calls for smart, meticulous and hard working individual with the ability to build strong client and vendor relationships carry out accurate and expedient response to internal and external stakeholder requests whilst also being able to identify system requirements and associated business results and affect changes with minimal disruption to the business. Experience in the implementation and support of a Front or Back office system within a Bank, Hedge fund or Asset Management organization would be considered a strong asset whilst Exposure to Clearing, Collateral & Securities Finance or Risk shall be considered as would system expertise in supporting or implementing Front, Middle or Back Office Systems, exposure to Clearing, Collateral & Securities Finance or Risk and experience writing functional and business specifications. An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business or related field is needed for this role.
The Business Analyst/Consultant shall provide advice, support and develop sustainable technology solutions for our clients as part of the Global Business Solutions Team, leveraging their experience in the fund administration or banking industry. Duties will include but are not limited to: Interface with customers to scope, gather, review, create, and implement their business and functional system requirements; working in conjunction with the Delivery Manager to recommend, agree and manage customer expectations around project timelines; managing and communicating issues to customer and internal project teams; providing support to customers with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, as well as resource requirements; working collaboratively with client, at times on client site, to configure and test it to ensure the system and deliverables meet the business requirements; working with the system and its users to test the implementation, achieve signoff (UAT), and continue to move the system toward go-live as well as training users on basic use of the system and new functionality. This nature of this role requires the analyst to be on site as required to achieve business results. Considerable travel and variable working hours is expected as our system implementations take place on our client sites globally as business needs dictate.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in fund administration or banking industry experience is a must for this position.
