Central location for new arrivals? (Malta)

Hello all -- Moving to Malta first week of August and trying to figure out best area to land for the first week or so while we get our bearings. Silema? Vallta? Looking for a week or so in an AirB&B or something similar. Happy to be a little way out (10min or so) if that would lower the cost. Part of my confusion is figuring out far apart places are. For example, driving time between St Pauls Bay and Valetta?Any suggestions for town/area to land while we look about for long term rental? Thank so much!
