Skills: This position calls for a proactive, committed and responsible individual with excellent leadership, management and team building skills. The ideal candidate will have strong vision and perspective whilst a sound understanding of governance, risks and how to manager them is required. The chosen applicant will be required to establish and enforce a culture within the Institute and its Members. Proficiency in the English and Maltese languages is a must whilst a graduate level of education is necessary.
Experience: Experience within a similar role is a must whilst a proven track record of specific achievements attained within a CEO position is required.
Duties: The Chief Executive Officer will be assisting the President in fulfilling his or her role within the Institute. Duties will include but are not limited to: developing, marketing and managing the Institute in order to assist in achieving its strategy; keeping the Officers Committee informed of any actions taken; providing advice and support to the President, the Officers Committee, the Council and the Institute’s Members; managing the day-to-day needs of the Institute; attending Council and Officers Committee meetings; being responsible for the business development and managing of the school whilst also attending school Board meetings as required.
